This is a translation provided for your convenience. The Portuguese version is the legally binding text and prevails in case of any discrepancy.

1. Who we are

Templis Digital, Unipessoal Lda. ("Templis Digital" or "we") is a software development company headquartered at Rua Helena Vieira da Silva 6, 2330-301 Entroncamento, Portugal, tax number (NIPC) 519486935. We are the data controller for the personal data collected through the templis.pt website.

For any question about privacy and data protection, you can contact us at privacidade@templis.pt.

2. What data we collect

We only collect the data strictly necessary for the purposes described in this policy:

  • Contact form: name, email address, and the content of the message you send us.
  • Browsing data: when you visit the site, technical data such as IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited, and visit duration may be collected. This data is collected through cookies and similar technologies, as described in section 7.

We do not collect special categories of data (health data, ethnic origin, political or religious beliefs, among others) through this site.

We do not use your data for automated decisions with legal effects, nor for profiling.

4. How long we keep your data

We keep data only for the period necessary for the purpose that led to its collection:

  • Contact messages that don't result in a business relationship: up to 12 months after the last contact.
  • Client data: for the duration of the contract and, after it ends, for the applicable legal retention periods.
  • Billing data: 10 years, as required by Portuguese tax law.
  • Browsing data: Vercel Analytics' temporary identifiers are discarded in under 24 hours; only aggregated, anonymous statistics are kept.

Once these periods end, the data is deleted or anonymised.

5. Who we share your data with

We do not sell or transfer your personal data to third parties. Data may only be shared with:

  • Service providers acting as processors (web hosting, email services, accounting), bound by contract under Article 28 of the GDPR and only to the extent necessary.
  • Public authorities, when required by law.

6. International transfers

Some of our service providers may be located outside the European Economic Area. In those cases, we ensure the transfer is made under a European Commission adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses, guaranteeing a level of protection equivalent to that of Europe.

The templis.pt site is hosted by Vercel Inc., a company headquartered in the United States. Data transfers to Vercel are made under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the standard contractual clauses included in its Data Processing Agreement.

7. Cookies and statistical analysis

The templis.pt site does not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies.

To understand how the site is used, we rely on Vercel Analytics, a statistical analysis tool that does not use cookies and does not track visitors across sites or sessions. The data collected (pages visited, country of origin, device and browser type) is aggregated and anonymised: each visit's identifier is generated from a temporary hash, discarded in under 24 hours, and the full IP address is never stored. Because it does not allow visitors to be identified, this analysis does not require consent or a cookie banner.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you;
  • Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • Erase your data ("right to be forgotten"), under the conditions set out in the law;
  • Restrict processing in certain circumstances;
  • Portability: receive your data in a structured, commonly used format;
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interests;
  • Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacidade@templis.pt. We will respond within one month at the latest.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority (CNPD — Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados), at www.cnpd.pt.

9. Security

We adopt appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, or destruction, including encrypted communications (HTTPS), access controls, and data minimisation.

10. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated to reflect legal changes or changes in how we handle data. The version in force will always be available at templis.pt, with the date of the last update. Material changes will be prominently communicated on the site.
